This is being forwarded from letpress@UNB.CA and might be of interest to
some. Letpress is a new list for letterpress printing etc.

> > Press.
Yes, sure. They are:
1) The Printer, edited by Michael Phillips, 337 Wilson Street, Box 1402,
Findlay, OH 45840. Telephone: (419) 422-4958. FAX: (419) 422-2777.
Issued monthly. Rates: 1 year, (12 issues) $20; $35 for two years; $50
for three years. Contains lots of current items of interest to
letterpress printers, and a great many classified ads for presses and
equipment for sale all over the US, Canada, and the UK. A free classified
ad comes with each subscription. Tell Mike that Steve Saxe sent you.
2) Type and Press, edited by Fred Williams, 24667 Heather Court, Hayward,
CA 94545. Issued quarterly. Rates: 1 year (four issues) $4 US, $4.50
Canada, overseas surface mail $5, overseas air $6.25. (Note: these rates
were listed in the fall of 1994; US postal rates have gone up, but I
don't know if they affect Type & Press' prices.) Contains interesting
articles of interest to letterpress printers, and lots of classified ads
for buying & selling presses, type, and equipment. Tell Fred that Steve
Saxe sent you.

And, if I may:
Old Type Faces from the Frederic Nelson Phillips Collection of antique,
exotic type faces. 72 pages, 8-1/2 x 8-1/2, paperback. Specimen showings
of several hundred Victorian typefaces, accurately named and fully indexed.
