Just received an announcement from the Oregon Book Arts Guild that the
biannual Oregon Book Arts-Focus Conference will be held from June 22-25 at
the Caitlin Gabel School in Portland, OR.  The theme of the conference is
Focus On Structure and will include workshops and lectures in "accordian fold
books, artist/gallery relationships, art-stamping, basic letterpress, basic
typography, blind tooling, calligraphy for non-calligraphers, case binding,
embossing, gestural handwriting, Japanese bindings, linocuts, non-traditional
papermaking, photopolymer printing plates, small press book collecting,
suminigashi, watercolor marbling, wax tablets, woodcuts, and more."  For more
