Sorry for the interrupted message in the last sending. It should have read:
Jack Sinclair noted that paste waxes need stripping from time to time.
Renaissance Wax is a purified wax that does not need stripping; in fact,
conservators use it on irreplaceable artifacts, assuming that it will not
never need removal. The wax coating is extremely thin and does not turn
yellow. I've used it for years without needing to remove old layers.
