Re: COUNTER: The University of Iowa Book Arts Newsletter

With reference to Charles Alexander's inquiry:
"The New Bookbinder" is a British publication, appearing (unfortunately
only) once a year. For me at least, it's unsurpassed in the quality of its
contributors and standards of production, scope of topics covered, depth of
information and the excellence of its photography and illustrations. Of
course, its emphasis is on the craft of bookbinding. To the degree that this
coincides with the interests and preoccupations of the 'book artist,' it
could be considered essential reading?
