Re: NE chapter meeting



  The New England chapter of the Guild of Book Workers will be meeting in
Boston this Saturday (Feb. 1) at the Frances Loeb Library, School of Design,
Harvard University from 10:00-1:00.  The main presentation will be by Scott
Kehoe, "An Introduction to Photographing Bookbindings", followed by a
display and discussion by Jim Reid-Cunningham of treatments currently
underway at the Design School on some oversized architectural books from
the Richardson Collection.  Members from other chapters, and persons
interested in the Guild are welcome to attend.
  Prior to the formal presentations there will be time to view the current
exhibit in the Design School special collections reading room which is a
travelling exhibit of work by the Delaware Chapter of the Guild.  This
exhibit will be at the Design School through February.  The Special
Collections Reading Room is open week days from 1:00-4:45 pm.  The Frances
Loeb Library is located in Gund Hall at the Design School, on the corner of
Quincy and Cambridge Streets across from Memorial Hall.
