Reading Between the Lines, an exhibition of artists books

Dear Book Friends-
Reading Between the Lines, an exhibition of artists books will open this
Thursday January 15 at the Rotunda Gallery in Brooklyn, New York.

Artists showing work are: Doug Beube, Meg Belichick, Carrie Cooperider,
Maho Kino, Soraya Marcano, Alison Moritsugu, Susan Newmark, Miriam Schaer,
Susan Share, Zhao,Suikank, Jason Walz, and Janet Zweig.

There will also a "library" of artist books from the Gallery's slide
registry of books which can be handled.

Curated by Gallery Director Janet Riker and Assistant Director Meridith
McNeal, this exhibit aims to create a dialog between traditional artists'
books and scultpural work that references the formal structure of the work.

There will be an opening reception on Thursday from 6-8, and there will be
a gallery talk on Thursday February 26, at 3.30 pm.

The exhibit will run from January 15 to March 17, 1998

The Rotunda Gallery is located at: 33 Clinton Street in Brooklyn Heights
Tuesday-Friday from 12-5 Saturday from 11-4 and is easy to reach by subway
- A and C train to High Street or 2,3,4,5,M,N,and R train to Borough Hall.
