Re: Oil of Wintergreen revisited

  For those of you who teach in schools that also have chemistry
departments, you may be able to get a bottle of Methyl Salicylate
(wintergreen oil) from them, as needed for copier transfers. Some
departments may even be able to give it to you, since they may not use it
much in their area, but need to have it on hand for the occasional
  I get a 500ml bottle at a time and pour it out into a smaller
container for students to use (in case of breakage). Wonderful source for
