Pelon is a great invention and is used by seamstresses and tailors to
strengthen lapels on jackets, for example.  You need an iron on a rather
medium to low setting, if I recall.  Get a yard at a local fabric store; it
will come with directions.  I have used it to fuse to silk and so to cover a
