                           FORWARD! MARCH!

An Exhibition of Toy Soldiers, Books,
                         and Art Works from the
                      Collection of Frank Steffens

FORWARD! MARCH! will be on display from June 4th to
September 27th, 1998, in the Bienes Center for the
Literary Arts, Broward County Library, 6th Floor,
100 S. Andrews Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, 33301.

The exhibition includes more than 700 toy soldiers,
30 illustrated toy soldier boxes, 28 books and magazines,
and 5 art objects. A serious collector since the late
1980s, Frank Steffens has concentrated on the British
and French Imperial Armies and the Allies of the 19th
Century because of the colorful uniforms, flags, pennants,
        and cavalry mounts.

Steffens is a retired financial executive and currently
a director and chairman of the board of Memorial Health
Systems of Broward, Inc., a community support not-for-profit
affiliated with Memorial Hospital, Hollywood, Florida.

An opening reception and `gallery talk' by Steffens will
        be held from 6 to 8 p.m., June 4th, 1998, in the
        Bienes Center. To R.S.V.P, call (954) 3457-8692.

A complimentary 32 page catalog is available upon request.
