Re: Paris

At least two great book shows were up in Paris in May. The Bibliotheque
Nationale Mitterand (the new one, at Tolbiac) has "200 Treasures of the
BN." and the Bibliotheque Historique de la Ville de Paris (in le Marais
- the 4th arrondissement) had in May, the 300th anniversary of the
publisher Didot, complete with press, stereotype casts and rare books
from Didot's personal collection. When you arrive in Paris, buy a
Pariscope (in French with a small English "Time out" section for 3
Francs, it has all the listings for museums, expos, restaurants, etc.
Bon voyage, Nora--
