The First Columbia Biennial



The Columbia College Chicago Center for Book and Paper Art is pleased to

announce The First Columbia Biennial Exhibition of Book and Paper Art
September 18 - October 30, 1998.

The Biennial was juried by Betty Bright, Caren Heft and Paul Wong, who
selected 37 works by 35 artists from a pool of 128 entrants. The quality

of all the work submitted was exceptionally high.  Recent work was given

priority over works from 2 or more years ago. The Biennial Artists are:

Alicia Bailey, Karen Baldner, Dennis Bayuzik, J. Catherine Bebout, Anne
Beidler, Leda Black, Aimee Bott, Judith Brotman, Beatrice Coron, Melissa

Jay Craig, Amanda Degener, Shari DeGraw, pk ellis, Mary Florence
Forsythe, Marguerite French, Karen Hanmer, Charles Hobson, Carole
Komarek, Karen Kunc, David Laufer, Ken Leslie, Barbara Lazarus Metz,
Paul Myers, Louise Neaderland, Sonya Rapoport, John Risseeuw, Claire
Jeanine Satin, Joyce Utting Schutter, Genie Shenk, Robbin Ami
Silverberg, Susan Slogoff, Linda Smith, Joan Soppe and Paige Spangler.

Opening Reception:  Friday, September 18th, from 5-7pm
