BOSTON AREA BOOKARTS EXHIBIT
Emily Martin's unique handmade artist's book, NEEDLES AND PINS will be
on exhibit at BOOK EXPLORATIONS '99 sponsored by The New Art Forum in
(which is south of Boston). Also on exhibit are books made by area
artists: Jody Alexander,"Chumash Codex"; Mary McCarthy,"Tribal Alphabet";
Lora Brueck,"Accident"; Joan Collier, "Snow"; Karen Klein,"Montana" Ruth
Ginsberg-Place,"A Walk in the Arboretum", plus Nancy Callahan's
"Cauliflower..." (N.Y.); Marcia Buch's "Jesse's Book"(CT); Julie E. Harris'
Jean Hart's "To the Sea"II (England) and so many more exquisitely executed
expressions of creativity including a tiny boxed accordion book by Sam
Garriott Antonacci,"Seattle Skyline" (WA).
The award winners will be announced here March 5th.
BOOK EXPLORATIONS may be viewed at its opening, Friday, March 5, 7 - 9
pm, or on Saturday and Sundays, 1-4 pm through March 14 and 7-9pm March 10,
or by special appointment for groups. Email or Call Lilias at

From Boston take route 3 south to exit 9, go right onto Main Street to #228,
on the corner of Elm. From Providence, take route 44 to route 3north, take
exit 9 and right onto Main Street.
