Re: removing a bookplate (fwd)



Eric's suggestion is right on. If you are concerned with the ink bleeding
(older inks are generally ok, but test first), it can often be easily
consolidated using Klucel-G, or Cellugel (available from Gaylord, UP...).
To remove the gunk from the back, apply a poltice of methycellulose,
laponite, or put into water.
