     Since 1982 Letter Arts Review has provided informative articles,
considered commentary, and outstanding reproductions. Each carefully designed
issue informs, inspires, and invigorates. Letter Arts Review covers the wide
range of lettering arts, whether the work is contemporary or historical;
experimental or traditional; commercial or fine arts oriented; legible or
nonlegible; verbal or nonverbal.
     Subscription rates for four issues are USA $42, Canada $45. All others
$62. For eight issues: USA $75, Canada $81, all others $107. Prices in US
dollars drawn on a US bank. Visa, MasterCard and Discover also accepted.
Checks in Canadian dollars and British pound sterling accepted at current
exchange rate. All subscriptions begin with the current issue unless
otherwise specified.
     Some changes to the magazine are planned. Each issue will have eight
more pages, starting with the 15-2 issue, available this summer. Starting
also with that issue, large color reproductions will be used to announce
exhibits or the publication of an important book. The usual considered
reviews of those exhibits and books will follow in later issues.
