Hello all - I've been checking out the posts here for quite awhile =
without a peep! Just didn't have alot to add...But finally a real =
question dawns...

I would like to the hows, whys and whens of "tipping in" an =
illustration/print into the book. I've got a student who is making =
etchings and now wants to incorporate them into a handmade book. I my =
humble opinion, the prints would look terrific cut or torn down smaller =
than the book paper size and then ...what? How is something tipped in? =
put alittle reversible type glue along the top edge? use tabs? Gluing =
the whole piece down? =20

I think I have answered my own "whys" but would be interested in others =
as well as "whens" as in when did this process begin (short history =
lesson if anyone would care to...or point me in the direction of a =
resource on more?).

So hello to all and thank you for you answers / suggestions. This is =
exciting! my first post! =20
