the first publication of a new imprint,
THE ROUNDHOUSE PRESS
MOLLY FISK - a resident of Nevada City - is well-known for a rich and
varied body of work,
through which runs the dark thread of incest, a leavening humor, and the
deep solace of the natural world.
"Great emotional power, linguistic invention, and courage." -- Jane Hirshfield
DAN BELLM reads from "One Hand on the Wheel,"
the first offering from the California Poetry Series by The Roundhouse Press.
He lives in San Francisco. "Courageous and human poems." - Adrienne Rich
Springing from Malcolm Margolin's distinguished publishing house, Heyday Books,
Roundhouse is guided by Bay Area poetry heroine Joyce Jenkins of "Poetry
Flash" journal and the
design expertise of David Bullen, who many of you may remember for his
impeccable designs for Northpoint Press. .
Poets Pulling Prints is the Center's on-going series celebrating poetry
aloud and in print, with signed letterpress broadsides.
DAVID BULLEN designed this event's broadsides with letterpress by the
Center's printing devils.
Partially funded by the Fleischhacker Foundation and the Zellerbach Foundation.
