Dear Book People

I'm on the horns of a mezzotint right now, and perhaps you could give me =
a word of advice. I haven't printed a mezzo in a while, but for some =
reason I'm having inordinate problems. It's been grounded with a rocker =
and mezzotinted for quite a while, but I didn't proof it before I =
started working on the image, which is, possibly a great mistake -- I =
don't know how black it _should_ be. The other thing that I think =
could be the problem is the metal. I don't know what it is. It could =
be brass, but it's definitely not zinc or copper. It's a small circular =
image. Looks beautiful inked, but horrible when I try to print.

Any words of advice or comfort?

Robyn
