Hi folks,

I just purchased a used Kwik Print hot foil stamper and seem to be =
having a problem getting the type holder up to temp. The type holder is =
used however the Robotemp control is new.

How long SHOULD it take to heat up to say 250 to 300 degrees (which is =
the temp that was recommended by the person I purchased the type holder =
from).

It doesn't seem to be working properly: it's took over an hour to reach =
165 ish degrees and the thermometer hasn't moved for the past half hour. =
I keep checking to see if it'll print anyway to see if perhaps the =
thermometer is broken, but it isn't working - foil not releasing.

Any thoughts? Please respond to my email address as I get a digest at =
midnight only and would like to be armed with some thoughts before =
calling the guy back to discuss a possible defect product having been =
sold to me.

Thanks for your help.
MCE

P.S.: Yes, I have considered the Robotemp being defective and I have =
ordered a replacement which I'll be getting via FedEx on Thursday am =
(today!). BUT, just in case it isn't the Robotemp... And the Robotemp =
light keeps going on and off...was told this is normal - even if on =
High...is THAT true??
