Millersville University of Pennsylvania Lecture



Millersville University of Pennsylvania and the Friends of Ganser Library,
cordially invite you to the Friends' Fall Lecture to be held on Tuesday,
September 19, 2000 at 7:30 p.m in the Bolger Conference Center, Lehr Room,
Millersville, PA. (located west of Lancaster, PA).

The lecture, "What Makes A Rare Book Rare?" by Ronald Lieberman is a
national
authority on antiquarian and rare books and owner of the Family Album, ABAA,

at the Old Mill, Kinzers, PA.  The program will focus on the factors that
make
books valuable, and give hints about how even inexperienced book owners
might
evaluate their own books.  Those who attend are encouraged to bring in books
for
"show and tell."

The lecture is free and open to the public.
