Nine Months - new artist's book

I've been enjoying the mix of hard information and debate on the list and
thought it was time I stopped lurking and introduced myself to the list. My
name is David Bailey and together with my partner, Elizabeth Rashley, I run
the Avenue Press in the South-West of England. We specialise in
collaborating with artists and writers to produce heavily illustrated,
beautifully-bound, limited edition books. We are particularly interested in
printmaking and contemporary storytelling.

We have discovered there are so many talented artists wanting to get
involved that we have started a new series of books called Offcut Editions.
Priced at only $10 including airmail postage from the UK, they're an ideal
introduction to new talent.

Nine Months: Completely wordless the book follows one woman's journey
through three seasons of pregnancy. As buds ripen and flowers bloom, the
woman's body changes until - the magical moment appears.

Conceived by Elizabeth Rashley, the book is six inches square, illustrated
throughout by lino engravings and printed on heavyweight acid-free paper,
wire-bound in textured Canson card. All are signed by the artist and the
edition is limited to 266 copies. Laser printed. ISBN 0 9533270 9 4.
Elizabeth Rashley is a skilled linocut artist responsible for An Avian
Alphabet from the Inky Parrot Press and A Wisdom Of Owls from the Avenue
Press.

Nine Months is only the first Offcut Edition in a busy publishing schedule
featuring artists and writers from throughout the South-West of England.
Please feel free to contact us by post, telephone, fax or email for details.

I look forward to hearing from you. With best wishes
