Re: Shipping books

Dear Bob,

WHy ship bound printed when Media Mail or what used to be termed "book rate"
is cheaper?

For instance a one pound box of bound printed matter mailed from Maine to
Virginia would cost $1.79.

But mailed Media Mail (Book Rate) it costs $1.30.

The only restriction on either is the box must weigh at least one pound.
Bound and printed is usually for advertising brochures and things like that.
