Re: Seeking writers from Book_Arts-L

Christopher,
How ironic, I don't have any expertise in the editing world, but I have
recently taken on a very experienced editor pro bono. He is getting me up to
speed on the proper methodology, etc., so I can stand on my own two feet. I
fell into this position as an interested bookseller/collector who wanted to
see a more content-packed publication, so I started one. I then purchased
"Bookseller Monthly" at the end of last year from a colleague who was
lacking sufficient time to produce it. Because of my limited budget, I am
only able to offer $15 per article used. I am not sure if that is worth the
trouble for you. Many of the writers I pay are mostly interested in "helping
out" and being published; that is not to say they are complete amatuers.
Several are seasoned vets in the book and print world. Let me know if you
may still be interested.
