Re: Which scanner do you recommend?



The most recent HP scanner (5370C) we've purchased has a great
transparency/negative/slide scanning attachment with it. Not the funky
mirrored triangle type that don't work well, but an inverted light box that
sits right on the scanner bed. Large enough to scan 4 x 5 transparencies.
Works so well I've even been able to scan still images from old 8mm film and
increase the size with good resolution.

It was under $300 and does as good a job as the model I spent $800 on four
years ago (ouch).
