Re: Trip to Estonia

A good place to start would probably be the Estonian National Library
in Tallinn. Their web site is at <http://www.nlib.ee/>, and there's
information (in English) on their rare books collection at
<http://www.nlib.ee/inglise/teen/servic.html>.

Similarly, in Tartu, the University Library,
<http://www.utlib.ee/>, with special collection information at
<http://www.utlib.ee/en/collections/rare.html>.

As of 1994, a good smokey, basement bar was ILLEGAARD, Ülikooli 5, Tartu.
A web search shows they're still there: ph:+372 7 434 424;Sat-Thu 11-02;
Fri 11-03.
Basically a student pub.
