I'm glad to say that, according to a police report, there have been
*no* confirmed reports of physical assaults on Arabs or Muslims (or
look-alikes) in New York City. I did hear of a woman in a shadur being
hooted on the Brooklyn Bridge, and there may have been verbal
hostilities. Yesterday, just outside the tiny ice-cream store on 2nd
Ave., two men sat arguing furiously about their feelings as Jews.
Inside two employees were furiously arguing in Arabic. Maybe it's the
ice-cream.
