The Dremel tool is just great!  You can make teeny tiney holes when
necessary.  Dremel makes very small drills as well as larger ones.  It gives
you great flexibility and it is easy to handle.  I have the electric one (and
the drill press) but the battery operated one makes sense for some people.
Either way, it is a real friend to the bookbinder.
