COLLABORATIVE VISIONS
Opening Reception
Free

Collaborative Visions presents diverse approaches to group projects
involving many artists, each contributing an editioned component of the
whole. An exquisite horse mix-and-match, a collection of watermarked sheets
of handmade paper, boxes, books, art-wrapped hangers, playing cards and
more. A fascinating range of coactive possibility, encompassing the work of
over 150 artists is presented in this exhibit. The works on display have
been organized by individual artists (Jules Remedios Faye, Robbin Ami
Silverberg, Robert Johnson), by organizations (Hand Papermaking magazine,
Silver Buckle Press, NoName Exhibitions/[The] Red Eye [Theater]) and by
instructors at educational institutions (Kitty Maryatt at Scripps College;
Vance Studley, Heidrun Mumper-Drumm and Gloria Kondrup at Pasadena's Art
Center College of Design).
