I am a quilter. I've had an Olfa quilter's cutting mat for years. I've
used rotary cutters and exacto knives on it but I'm still using the same
mat. I wonder why you would need to replace yours three times a year?

While you are in the fabric stores looking for the quilter's cutting mats
look at the special Plexiglas rulers made for quilters. I find them
indispensable in layout, drafting, bookmaking and paper cutting. I also use
my rotary cutter to cut paper and bookboard. I've often wondered why the
quilt tool makers don't advertise to the art community.
