I too am very interested in this area and would love to hear more about =
any studies that may have been done in regard to literacy and book arts.

Katie - Book Central carries most of Paul Johnson's books =
(http://www.bookartscentral.com/). They are really fast.  I highly =
recommend reading his books. He has done so much to promote literacy =
through the book arts.
