I've had several inquiries about the 1988 binding on Michael Brown's
_Laying Waste: The Poisoning of America by Toxic Chemicals." It's an
"overlay" binding with the primary binding overlaid with an image in
phosphorescent paint, so you see the secondary image in the dark, and
a combination of the two bindings in half-light.

A photo of this book in half-light is now on the top right corner of

you can click on it to see bigger pix in 3 lighting levels.

Phosphorescent paint is available at most novelty shops. If you can't
find the paint, they may have phosphorescent powder, which you can mix
with any clear medium (acrylic, lacquer, varnish...).
