Columbia College Chicago Center for Book & Paper Arts presents another segment of its Friday Night Lecture series

The Center for Book & Paper Arts presents

Marshall Weber

Marshall Weber is Co-founder of  Booklyn, AKA the Booklyn Artists Alliance,
a national artist run, non-profit organization that publishes, distributes,
and curates exhibitions of artists' books and related installation and
performance art work. Booklyn has over fifty associated artists and sixty
exhibiting and collecting institutions participating in its various
programs, including the current tours of the "Parallel Botany" show, now at
Bryn Mawr, College in Pennsylvania, the "Rare books of the Future" exhibit,
now at the Center for Book Arts in New York City and the "even the birds
were on fire…" performance and scroll installation.

Marshall will be appearing at the Center for Book & Paper Arts as part of
it's Friday Night Lecture series. He will be showing work created at Bookyn
and will talk about his experiences in mixing books with performance and
installation.


Lecture begins at 6:30 PM in the Raw Space on February 22.
