Jayne,

Some of my favorite tools have been - strips of binders board cut into
narrow widths and a few inches long - they are disposable and are great for
making wide wavy lines.  A fun find is a rubber tool found in craft stores
and even Home Depot etc. in the paint techniques section.  It has notches
on 4 sides for different patterns and it costs about 5 or 6 dollars.  I
also like stiff paintbrushes for dragging.
