I know of some letterpress printers (who shall remain nameless) that use the
moleskin product sold by Dr. Scholls as a (sort of) negative die for
printing embossments. It comes with an adhesive on the back that makes it
easily adhered to the drawsheet or tympan. It doesnąt last very long.
