Charley Thompson, who taught bookbinding for the Santa Barbara Adult
Ed
program for over thirty years, passed away in March of this year.
Though
his classes consisted of fairly elementary levels of technique, hundreds
of
enthusiastic students took his classes and profitted from his cheery,
and
patient instruction.
He will be sorely missed by those on the Central Coast who knew and
admired him.
