I'm not sure what it is you are speaking about but if you mean the green self healing cutting mats, you can get them at fabric stores at about 2/3 the price that is charged by art supply stores.  These are the same size, slightly thinner and frequently have two usable sides instead of one.  If this is not what was meant then.......never mind.
