Re: [BKARTS] Punching letters in steel

Be advised that stainless steel is hard and metal punches may not be
effective unless the material is quite thin and in any case punches will
dull more quickly. They are also hard to line up since each punch is an
individual hand operation. Not knowing the application, you might also
consider an electric hand vibratory engraving tool.

Subject: Punching letters in steel

I am looking for a good (Cheap!) way to punch letters into stainless
steel sheets and I wondered if anybody had any ideas on the best way to
do it.

Thanks

Verian
