I don't really see the need to "solve the problem".  Things happen the way they are supposed to, or else they would happen differently.  An individual can "solve the problem" for just themselves.  That seems much more efficient than trying to change the whale, or rather whole.  I think the true path for an artist or craftsman is the one they seek and find for themselves.  A group or an institution tends to only serve itself as an organism, at the expense of the "cells".
