LAST CALL FOR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA GBW WORKSHOP FEBRUARY
Peggy Skycraft, widely esteemed paper marbler and designer of decorative papers in 23 styles, will be offering two separate one-day workshops at Kater-Crafts bindery on February15 and 16, 2003. In “Surface Magic: New Techniques in Decorative Papers,” we will learn to make richly colored decorative papers using exotic surface techniques. We will use a variety of materials, including resist rubbings, handmade paints with metallic and interference colors, mica and glitter, all on strong paper suitable for any use. The second class will be a Beginning Marbling class covering the basics of marbling papers using watercolor paints. Each class will be limited to eight participants. First -come first-served.
