Re: [BKARTS] conservation query: mold?

Ruth-
You could refer your friend to the conservation website, which is based at Stanford.

Subject: conservation query: mold?

Friend of mine had some house damage, and wound up with mold on his favorite
seven-volume set of medieval history.

His rebuilders say they can wipe down the books but not much more.

What can help? He's in Oakland if there might be an area conservator willing
to lend a hand. He has resources but not a lot of technical expertise with
this sort of thing.

Ruth
