Re: [BKARTS] BOOK_ARTS-L Digest - paste papers

We made our own paste papers in a wonderful Los Angeles Book Arts Center
"pop-up case" workshop taught by Beth Thielen. The papers covered a small
book and the inside and outside of the case cover (see attachments).

For the papers, we used 17 x 11 Xerox copy paper ... 32 lb "exact color
copy" white 96 brightness, smooth finish and acid free. We used a small
amount of cheap acrylics suspended in a mix of methyl celulose powder and
water. "Pearescence" (macro, not micro) was added for shine.
