[BKARTS] NEW on the Tom Phillips Website

Hello all,

With great pleasure we announce the addition of new material to the Tom
Phillips website.

A new edition was released in early August and can be found at:
http://www.tomphillips.co.uk

This edition included the following new material:

WOVEN MUSIC : WORKS AND TAPESTRIES BY TOM PHILLIPS : A VIRTUAL
EXHIBITION : An online tour of the extensive one-man show in Lisbon's
Galeria Tapeçarias Portalegre.

SIR ROBERT ANDERSON : Tom takes on one of the most daunting commissions
in Britain.

CULTURAL TIES : As one of 77 international artists contributing to a
unique necktie-designing project, Tom's language drawing literally
encircles the viewer's head.

In addition, a new edition was released in June 2003, and can be found
at:

http://www.tomphillips.co.uk/recentup/indexarc/index403.html

This June edition included the following new material:

CORONATION ANNIVERSARY CROWN : The Royal Mint's commemoration of the
Golden Jubilee, designed by Tom Phillips.

CUBES, INCLUDING WITTGENSTEINS' DILEMMA, INVERTED : A notoriously
difficult-to-photograph sculpture is captured in 3D.

THE NATURE OF ORNAMENT : A major reassessment of the role of Ornament,
delivered by Tom to the RA Architecture Forum.

RED HANDED [WITH LUCY] : Exhibition notes for the current show at Christ
Church Picture Gallery.

WORKS ON LITERARY THEMES : Exhibition notes for the recent show at the
Charleston Trust, Lewes.

And previously this year, the site featured material related to BRIAN
ENO. This can be found here:

<tomphillips.co.uk> is a site dedicated to the works and texts of
British painter/writer/book artist/composer Tom Phillips. It is created
in collaboration with Tom, and is currently updated bimonthly.

All best wishes, John Nick Pull, editor
