Cheers,

Henry and Rose Go To Camp is the creation of Tara Bryan and Duncan Major. Starting with a group of small cuts found languishing at walking bird press, the collaborators created a story around them. Illustrated with the found cuts and original drawings, the book recounts the quirky adventure of a brother and sister at Camp Bete-n-eau. The book is letterpress- and Gocco-printed on Environment Text paper and hand-bound in a miniature concertina format. The covers and slipcase are handmade paper from Papeterie St. Armand. Henry and Rose Go To Camp is a limited edition of 75 copies, each one signed by both artists. 2 7/8"x 2 7/8"x 3/8" $35 plus shipping and handling.

Duncan Major is a high school student at Holy Heart of Mary in St. Johns,
Newfoundland, now in his final year. He was first employed by Tara Bryan in
the summer of 2001 and has since been her part-time printer's devil at
walking bird press. Besides bookmaking, Duncan's other interests include
guitar playing, volleyball, traveling, and magnetic fridge poetry. Dawn of
the 21st Century: The Millennium Photo Project (Smashing Books 2000)
included a photograph taken by him of Cape Spear. An avid music fan, he is
also the member of numerous choirs and bands at his high school. Henry and
Rose Go To Camp is his first published book.

Tara Bryan is a painter and book artist, and proprietor of walking bird press.
