[BKARTS] New exhibit - Arts of the Book Collection, Yale

The Arts of the Book Collection, Yale University Library is pleased to host
the exhibition "Selections from the John O.C.McCrillis Collection" though
April 30, 2004. Mr. McCrillis, who turns 90 this year, is a graphic
designer trained in the Yale graduate program.  He has shared his design
expertise with many local organizations and institutions such as the New
Haven Symphony Orchestra, The New Haven Colony Historical Society, and the
Yale University Press.   He also printed many works for pleasure under the
imprint of the Penny-Whistle Press.

The exhibit is on display in two locations.  The display cases in the nave
of Sterling Memorial Library are open for viewing
Mon - Thurs 8:30 a.m. to Midnight
Fri 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sat 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sun 1:00 p.m. to Midnight

The display cases in the Arts of the Book Collection  (located inside
Sterling Memorial Library) are open for viewing
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am to 1pm
Tuesday, Thursday 1pm to 5pm.

A reception will be held on Wednesday, February 25 from 4pm to 6pm in the
Arts of the Book Collection in Sterling Memorial Library.  The event is
free and open to the public.
