Re: [BKARTS] ? regarding book cover

Using instructions in Keith Smith's SINGLE SHEET BINDING, I bound a copy of
HEADBANDS & HOW TO WORK THEM by Jane Greenfield and Jenny Hille which I had
purchased in sheets. I bound the Plexiglas covers (front and back) and black
foam core frames with headband samples as single sheets, making the covers
about 3/8" thick. The text block is sewn with a Coptic stitch.

A foldout, front and back, identifies the headbands. This was a complicated
project I could not have accomplished alone. I am grateful to Dorothy
Swendeman of Eureka who collaborated with me to produce many of the headband
samples.

Raphiel, this might be just the answer you are seeking. You could recess
small objects in the foam core.
If you would like, I'll be happy to send pictures of my book offline.

Betty
