[BKARTS] Book Arts Workshops at GSLIS



GOOD NEWS! There is still space available in the July 2004 Book Arts Workshops
sponsored by the Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) at
the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. These workshops are open to
all interested in the book and book arts.  No experience or artistic talent
necessary.  Just bring your enthusiasm and interest in learning something new.

Decorated Papers - History, Techniques, and Use

Date:  Saturday, July 17   Time:  9:00 a.m. ?  4:00 p.m.
Location: GSLIS building Room 131
Registration fee:  $99

Pastepaper Preparation and Decoration (Hands-on Workshop)

Date:  Sunday, July 18     Time:  9:00 a.m. ? 4:00 p.m.

Creative Bookbinding: East meets West (Hands-on Workshop)

Dates: Saturday and Sunday, July 24 ? 25, 2004
Times:  9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. daily
