A brief overview will be presented on basic conservation procedures for
residents of tropical climates followed by a practical, hands-on
workshop instructing participants in the art of making simple,
inexpensive, custom-fit protective enclosures designed to conserve rare
and fragile artists' books and other rare and valuable printed
materials.
An optional list of basic tools and other supplies for the class, along
with parking instructions, will be sent upon registration confirmation.
