Re: [BKARTS] instructions for "map folding" for handmade books

I took a class on folded maps from historical models at the Center for Book
Arts a couple of years ago. The class was called "Large Paper in Small
Spaces: Creating books with Foldouts" and was taught by Pamela Spitzmueller.
She's the head book conservator at Harvard. Maybe she will be teaching the
class again soon at the Center in NY or elsewhere. It was a great class and
she had excellent handouts. We made numerous models that have served me well
since the class.
The center's website is www.centerforbookarts.org
