Re: [BKARTS] Rome?

When in Rome . . .
The Istituto Centrale di Patologia del Libro, Via Milano 76
has a small/tiny museum with displays on the physical life of books.
Beginning with the materials of books it goes through all of the
terrible things that can happen to books and then the amazing things
that can be done to restore them (usually).
You need to make an appointment but they are very gracious when you get
there. Their website is www.patologialibro.beniculturali.it

Subject: Rome?

I will be a Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome for the
month of
December. Any suggestions for book related places to visit or events
happening in December will be appreciated.
