Re: [BKARTS] The Pepper Challenge

I think this has gone too far. Maybe I'm a middle-class wimp, but I think
a lot of this is just plain cruel to anybody who so earnestly believes in
his own work. 'Way too personal. What happened to civility?

Remember Kenneth Clark's final word on the Civilisation series many years
ago (paraphrased), that civilized society is glued together by civility and
politeness. Kind of like the rule of law which would all disolve if
everybody stopped believing in it.

"pretty awful"
"neither skilled enough nor naive enough to be interesting"
"incompetent"
"boring"
"a joke"

This is very passionate talk for someone who says and
> "as to the rest who really cares?"

I am concerned to see such personal attacks on the work of any artists. You
must have been "very" cranky, indeed.
