"Book Works 2006", the Pacific Center for the Book Arts members' exhibition through March 19th at the main branch of the San Francisco Library (100 Larkin St, Civic Center BART station) 6th floor Skylight Gallery. Over 80 artists represented with their vision of the book as a dynamic contemporary art form. Also on exhibit is "On the Road: The Jack Kerouac Manuscript," his 120 foot long scroll manuscript in the lower level Jewett Gallery.

You could visit the San Francisco Center for the Book (http://www.sfcb.org/)! it's where i took beginning bookbinding classes and it's usually got a nice exhibit of printwork or bookbinding.
